Wireless Chargers in Malaysia is the focus of this guide, with practical comparisons of specifications, prices, strengths and trade-offs. Wireless charging is convenient, but the word “wireless” hides several different standards and use cases. For this Malaysia-focused shortlist, the Belkin BoostCharge Magnetic Wireless Charger Stand 7.5W (WIB003myBK), Belkin BoostCharge Pro Qi2 Convertible Charging Stand 15W (WIA008btWH), and Belkin BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 MagSafe Charging Pad 15W (WIZ016myWH) are not interchangeable. Their approximate prices are ~RM179, ~RM349 and ~RM739. The price gap buys alignment, portability or extra Apple-device charging, not automatically a faster result for every phone.

How Qi, Qi2 and MagSafe differ
Qi is the basic inductive charging standard: a coil in the phone and a coil in the charger transfer power across a small gap. A normal Qi phone does not gain magnets simply because a charger has a magnetic ring. Alignment can be less predictable, and a case, camera bump or movement may reduce charging reliability. Qi2 adds magnetic alignment. A suitable magnetic case can provide attachment, but it does not by itself upgrade an ordinary Qi phone to Qi2 or guarantee 15W; check the phone-and-case combination supported by the charger. MagSafe is Apple’s magnetic system; the first and third picks are aimed at particular MagSafe-era or MagSafe-supported iPhones, while the WIA008 uses Qi2 and is also suitable for MagSafe-compatible devices.
Do not assume that any Android handset will snap onto these products. Some newer Android phones support Qi2, some support only ordinary Qi, and some need a properly designed magnetic case. A regular Qi Android phone may charge on a compatible non-magnetic Qi surface, but it should not be promised secure attachment, correct alignment or the advertised 15W magnetic experience. Check the exact phone, case and charging certification before paying for magnets.
1. Best budget stand: Belkin BoostCharge Magnetic Wireless Charger Stand 7.5W

At about RM179 on sale (RM189 as a reference price), WIB003myBK is the sensible low-cost desk or bedside stand for a compatible iPhone owner. It offers magnetic alignment up to 7.5W and supports portrait or landscape viewing, so a clock, notification or video can remain visible while the phone tops up. Its strength is a straightforward fixed location rather than maximum speed or travel flexibility. It is not a Qi2 charger, and its 7.5W ceiling is a meaningful distinction from the 15W models in this guide.
That wattage is the charger’s maximum wireless output, not a promise of wired-charging speed. Actual power reaching the battery varies with the phone, temperature, battery percentage and power-management rules. A wired USB-C charger can still deliver a higher peak and may be the better choice when you need a quick rescue charge. Wireless coils also create heat; a thick case, poor contact or a warm room can make charging slower. Leave the camera bump and case ring properly aligned. Belkin specifies MagSafe-approved cases up to 3 mm for WIB003; remove an unsuitable case if charging cuts in and out.
Belkin’s WIB003myBK Malaysia page [1] lists a 20W USB-C PD 3.0 adapter in the box. The WIB003 FAQ [2] confirms the USB-C power cable is built in; it is not a missing separate accessory. That also means cable replacement is less straightforward than on WIA008. The FAQ lists a two-year limited warranty, but confirm the Malaysian seller’s claim process and keep the invoice. The approximate RM170–RM180 level remains attractive for a charger that will stay on one desk.
Pros
- Lowest price of these three and a useful portrait/landscape stand.
- Magnetic alignment makes an iPhone 12–14 MagSafe-era setup easy to place.
- A clean bedside or work-desk solution for overnight top-ups.
Cons
- Up to 7.5W, so it is slower than the 15W Qi2/MagSafe choices and wired charging.
- Not Qi2; it is a poor fit for a generic Android phone or a non-magnetic case.
- Its built-in cable is less convenient to replace than a detachable cable.
Buy or avoid: Buy WIB003myBK if you own a compatible iPhone and want the cheapest stable stand for a fixed desk or nightstand. Avoid it if your priority is Qi2 15W, a flat travel pad, charging several devices, or magnetic Android compatibility. My verdict: it earns “best budget stand” by keeping the job narrow and the cost lower.
2. Best portable Qi2: Belkin BoostCharge Pro Qi2 Convertible Charging Stand 15W

WIA008btWH is the middle-price pick at about RM349 and the most versatile of the three. Its Qi2 magnetic charger can deliver up to 15W to a suitable phone, then fold from a stand into a flat pad. Portrait and landscape positions work at a desk, while the folding form is easier to pack for a hotel, office or trip than a permanently upright stand. The stand measures about 86.52×65.64×130.06mm; folded as a pad it is about 86.52×65.64×22.67mm.
The higher output is useful only when the phone and power source allow it. Qi2 alignment reduces the “phone slid away overnight” problem, but it does not remove heat or turn wireless charging into a wired 65W-style burst. A 15W label describes the charger’s wireless capability; the phone negotiates its own limit, and thermal control may reduce power. If using a case, choose a compatible magnetic one no thicker than the 3 mm limit in the WIA008 FAQ [3]. A bare compatible magnetic phone can also attach; a case is not compulsory for every phone. A magnetic case alone does not guarantee Qi2 speed on an ordinary Qi Android handset.
Belkin specifies a detachable 1.5m USB-C-to-C cable, which is useful because it can be replaced or packed separately. Its WIA008 declaration of conformity [4] covers the bt, my and vf packaging variants and lists a 20W USB-C supply; the exact WIA008btWH Malaysia page [5] lists only the stand and cable. Treat adapter inclusion and plug type as checks for the actual seller’s box. At roughly RM170 more than WIB003myBK, you are paying for Qi2, 15W capability and a convertible travel format. That is worthwhile for someone who moves between workspaces; it is wasted on a phone that cannot use the magnetic system.
Pros
- Qi2 magnetic alignment and up to 15W for supported phones.
- Folds into a compact pad and works in both viewing orientations.
- Detachable 1.5m USB-C-to-C cable is practical for travel and replacement.
Cons
- It charges one device at a time. The flat pad can also charge supported wireless AirPods cases; it cannot charge phone, Watch and earbuds together.
- Qi-only Android phones and unsuitable cases cannot be treated as Qi2 magnetic devices.
- Belkin’s retail page and regulatory document list the power bundle differently; confirm the actual box and plug.
Buy or avoid: Buy WIA008btWH if you have a Qi2 or MagSafe-compatible phone and want one charger that changes from a stand to a flat travel pad. Avoid it if you need simultaneous Apple Watch and earbuds charging, have a phone/case combination without compatible magnetic attachment, or want the lowest possible cost. My verdict: it is the best portable Qi2 choice because its folding design solves a real packing problem while preserving useful alignment.
3. Best premium Apple ecosystem: Belkin BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 MagSafe Charging Pad 15W

WIZ016myWH costs about RM739 at Brightstar Malaysia, which is more than double WIA008btWH. That premium buys a different setup: official MagSafe charging up to 15W for a supported iPhone, a dedicated Apple Watch module, and a pad for an AirPods case with wireless charging. The flat pad is about 21×86×236mm and weighs around 476g. It is a cable-consolidation product for an Apple bedside table or travel bag, not simply a faster single-phone pad.
Official MagSafe output applies to supported iPhones and the phone still manages heat and battery protection. Belkin’s WIZ016 model-specific test note [6] names Apple Watch Series 7, Series 8 and Ultra for fast charging, although an older note on that page still says Series 7 only. Series 6 and SE owners should expect standard Watch charging; confirm fast charging for other generations instead of treating a compatibility listing as a speed guarantee. The WIZ016 FAQ [7] confirms simultaneous charging of one compatible iPhone, one Apple Watch and one AirPods case with wireless charging. It does not guarantee other-brand earbuds will fit and charge. “3-in-1” is therefore a specific Apple-device combination, not three interchangeable phone pads.
This model has clearer accessory evidence than the other two: a 40W power supply and 1.5m barrel-jack cable are included. Belkin MY states a two-year warranty and a Connected Equipment Warranty up to US$2,500; keep the Malaysian invoice, serial details and seller record. The RM390 gap over WIA008btWH pays for the extra charging zones, included higher-capacity supply and tidier one-pad routine. It does not pay for a universally faster phone charge. The extra weight and flat footprint can be annoying for light packers, and one-device owners may get better value from the RM179 or RM349 options.
Pros
- Charges a supported iPhone, Apple Watch and wireless-charging AirPods case simultaneously.
- Official MagSafe up to 15W and a supplied 40W power system simplify an Apple setup.
- Belkin MY lists a two-year warranty and Connected Equipment Warranty coverage.
Cons
- ~RM739 is difficult to justify for a single phone or a non-Apple household.
- It is heavier and less flexible for minimalist travel than a one-device stand.
- Apple Watch and MagSafe features are not a promise of equivalent Android support.
Buy or avoid: Buy WIZ016myWH if you routinely charge an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods together and value one organised pad. Avoid it if you have Android-only devices, need a pocketable charger, own only one device, or are trying to minimise spend. My verdict: it is the best premium Apple ecosystem choice, but the expensive feature is the extra-device convenience rather than a magical increase in phone charging speed.
What Malaysian buyers should check
Prices around RM179, RM349 and RM739 are snapshots, not guarantees. Shopee vouchers, colour, seller bundles and stock can move the final total. For Sabah and Sarawak, check the seller’s delivery coverage, surcharge, estimated arrival and the seller’s dispatch location. Before accepting a parcel, record the unboxing if the seller requires evidence for a return. Confirm the return window, who pays return postage for a defect, and whether a local service centre or the seller handles warranty assessment. A low grey-import price is not equivalent to an authorised Malaysian invoice.
Inspect the model code on the box: WIB003myBK, WIA008btWH or WIZ016myWH. Check the supplied adapter, cable, plug, case compatibility and physical alignment before discarding packaging. Keep the invoice and serial number. If the pad becomes unusually hot, repeatedly disconnects, or only works when pressed into place, stop using that arrangement and test the phone without its case. Wireless charging is a convenience for topping up; it is not a substitute for the highest wired charging peak.
Final verdict
Best overall for most compatible single-phone users: WIA008btWH, because Qi2 alignment, 15W capability and stand-or-pad flexibility cover the widest practical routine. Best budget stand: WIB003myBK, when a MagSafe-era iPhone will stay on one desk. Best situational premium pick: WIZ016myWH, when an Apple Watch and earbuds genuinely charge alongside the iPhone every day. Pay the next price tier only when its specific standard, format or extra charging zone solves your problem.
